Mitakon Lens Turbo does work on the BMPCC!

Info - Mitakon Lens Turbo does work on the BMPCC!

It's finally been proven: the Mitakon Lens Turbo Nikon G/Ai to Micro Four Thrids (MFT or M4/3) works on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera! And judging by this short sample footage - it's not even bad at all, especially considering the pricepoint. This focal reducer sells for around $140,-

[UPDATE April 2014 - Mixed reports are still coming in, buy at your own risk. It fits for some, it doesn't for others.]

You can find plenty on eBay.

I'm planning on getting one in the coming month(s) as well.

Hi João,

I've just gotten a similar report from another source. It looks like the BMPCC has a too narrow inner diameter for it to fit, it seems a matter of a partial millimetre, but enough to obstruct. Sad.

Will keep an eye on these developments.

Just letting you know that mine does work! It;s even a little to loose, not so much that it is a big problem.

I shot this with the lens turbo and a samtang 16mm lens.

Mabey mine is an early version, don't know. It does work however.
