[Updated] Adobe has released the October upgrade, just in time during the last hours of the month - Next month Adobe will release a major upgrade to the Creative Cloud, as far as video goes. Over 150 new features will be added to their video applications. These features will automatically be rolled out via updates to all Creative Cloud subscribers. As far as I could see and experience during the IBC, this will be indeed -as Adobe says- a major upgrade.

UPDATED & RESOLVED! - Blackmagic Design seems to be responding to the (by now) well known issues. The most recent response is to the white orb issue. This will 'bloom' out specular highlights into white blobs/orbs in the footage. Joe Rubinstein from the Digital Bolex D16 already suspected that it would be a calibration error, and now Blackmagic Design confirms this.

LAST UPDATE: January 9th2016 - After nearly four years I can give some very safe advice on the buying of memory cards for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. And it's clear and simple: get the Sandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s SDXC cards of 64GB or more. Don't settle for anything else. During the past four years the 64GB cards have come down from well-over a hundred dollars to around $35 nowadays. Those cards are the best choice - there's no discussion.

There's a lot going for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC). But there are also downsides. One of the major things I've been hearing ever since its announcement is that it's got 'such a small sensor' in comparison to the current DSLR's and Super35 camera's. This means that the BMPCC doesn't have such a shallow depth of field, and that it's less light-sensitive - or is it...
