Zutphen is one of the oldest cities of The Netherlands. It has been continuously inhabited for over 1700 years, ever since the Germanic settlements back in 300 AD. I hope I've captured at least a little bit of its history in these images of my hometown. As a first more extensive shoot, I wanted to push the Pocket Cinema Camera to its edges - as far as dynamic range goes.

I got my Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) this week, at long last. Sadly didn't have the time to do an extensive shoot - only a few quick shots. So without further ado - here's my first own footage from the BMPCC. 

It's been just over two years since Vimeo launched its Music Store. As far as I'm concerned, a great hit. More than once have I made my way through the huge amounts of widely varying music. Once in a while I bought a track for professional usage. But mostly I kept coming back for personal projects, and thus mostly for free music. I do however like my free music to have some quality to it. This isn't quite as easy. There aren't a lot of high quality free music sources out there. Today - we can add one source to that short list: YouTube.

[Updated] Adobe has released the October upgrade, just in time during the last hours of the month - Next month Adobe will release a major upgrade to the Creative Cloud, as far as video goes. Over 150 new features will be added to their video applications. These features will automatically be rolled out via updates to all Creative Cloud subscribers. As far as I could see and experience during the IBC, this will be indeed -as Adobe says- a major upgrade.
